Work at Ware - 6Mar2023

INSTRUCTIONS for all applications

ONLY EMAIL SUBMISSIONS CONSIDERED. Seriously, things get crazy if we try to pay attention to too many platforms with this. Applications should be submitted in the following format:

  1. Email recipient: howdy@wareavl.com
  2. SUBJECT LINE: "Job Title - your name". Whether you're reaching out with your application or a question, please abide by this, so we don't miss your email.
  3. Cover letter or letter of interest as an attachment or Google Doc link (we need to be able to download this). This should let us know why you are a fit for Ware and this role.
  4. Résumé/CV/work history included in the same file as the cover letter.
  5. Optional: Include anything else you think is important for us to understand who you are and why you are an ideal candidate for the job!

    Diversity • Equity • Inclusion

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are concepts receiving an immense amount of attention at community and national levels these days. As a sustainable lifestyle store, we define “sustainability” as the state at the intersection of environmental health, economic prosperity, and human wellbeing - all three must be present. This means that racism (as well as sexism, ableism, xenophobia, homophobia, bigotry in all its manifestations), systemic or overt, is inherently unsustainable. We hold no space for the idea that this is a political concern, but maintain that it is a basic tenet of morality and human rights. We use inclusive language and are open to correction and conversation regarding these values. We strictly hire people who align with these principles and weave the spreading of their understanding into their daily lives. Our employees understand what it is to be anti-racist and their own roles in that work.
